What is Botox?

Botox is a non-surgical aesthetic treatment used to reduce or eliminate wrinkles caused by facial expressions. The active ingredient, botulinum toxin, temporarily blocks the nerve transmission to muscles, allowing them to relax. This results in smoothing of forehead lines, frown lines, crow’s feet around the eyes, and neck bands.
